LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

INTRODUCTORY STUDENTS

We provide the opportunity for interested people of all ages to learn basic Kathak footwork and compositions.

STUDENTS WITH PREVIOUS KATHAK TRAINING

People are encouraged to meet us, show their experience and together we will identify which group would be the best for them to join. These sessions which are led by students of Urmila Nagar are free.

LESSONS WITH URMILA NAGAR

Urmila Nagar (Didi) is based in New Delhi. She comes from India to Seattle each year to teach a 4-6 week Kathak intensive in preparation for our annual student concert. During this time, in-person introductory lessons are available. Didi also offers Zoom lessons most of the year.

All sessions with Didi are tuitioned.
